This test follows the guidelines of The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) - Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America -(RESNA), Volume 1 / Section 8. It involves lifting a fully loaded wheelchair 4 cm. off the ground and dropping it in a repetitive cycle.

	A complete test contains 6,666 drops and is remarkably severe. Although under no obligation to do so, Convaid submits every product design to the drop test. Crash Tested Models include the Cruiser, Metro, EZ Rider, Scout, Safari, Convertible, and the Rodeo.

Convaid Transit Wheelchairs are WC-19 Compliant!
Crash tested in accordance with Annex A, ANSI/RESNA WC/Vol.1 Section 19, and found to meet or exceed the performance requirements of subsection 5.3
