This is our most punishing test. Using a twin drum device, we subject all chair models to a grueling 100 hours of simulated bumpy road strain while under full load.

100 hours is more than twice the National Standard and gives Convaid the confidence to offer a lifetime warranty. Convaid has been subjecting wheelchair designs to this exhausting test since the 1970's. Crash Tested Models include the Cruiser, Metro, EZ Rider, Scout, Safari, Convertible, and the Rodeo.

Convaid Transit Wheelchairs are WC-19 Compliant!
Crash tested in accordance with Annex A, ANSI/RESNA WC/Vol.1 Section 19, and found to meet or exceed the performance requirements of subsection 5.3
